1. Entrants
1.1 The Competition is open to all residents of South Africa.

1.2 Directors, members, partners, agents, consultants, tenants or employees of WWF-SA and Plan B Alliance (Pty) Ltd, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter this competition.
This competition will not be open to persons under the age of 18.


2. Term
2.1 The competition opens on  21 September 2023 and closes at midnight on 21 October 2023.


3. The Prize
3.1 The Prize is one SANParks voucher for two nights’ accommodation for two people sharing at Agulhas National Park.

3.2 The Prize is for accommodation only, and does not include travel, conservation fees, activities or meals.

3.3 The Prize may not be redeemed during South African school holidays, public holidays or on long weekends and the Winner must make a booking within six months of receipt of  the Prize.

3.4 The Winner will comply with any terms and conditions or rules imposed by SANParks in relation to the Prize and the National Park.

3.5 The Prize will be sent to the Winner by email. The winner must provide identification and sign on receipt of the Prize when it is delivered to them.

3.6 In the event that the Prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable for any reason, WWF-SA may substitute a Prize of like or equal value.


4. Entries
4.1 Entrants may enter and stand a chance to win the competition by either:

 4.1.1 following the WWF South Africa Instagram page, and tagging the person they want to join them should they win the Prize, during the competition term; or

 4.1.2 for existing WWF-SA newsletter subscribers, by responding to a request from WWF-SA to update their contact details and preferences during the competition term.


4.2 Entrants may only enter the competition once.

4.3 WWF-SA takes no responsibility for any inability of an entrant to enter, complete, continue or conclude the competition due to equipment or technical malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnection or otherwise.

4.4 By entering this competition the entrant accepts the full terms, conditions and rules of this competition and agrees to abide by these rules and any requirements and/or proceedings issued by WWF-SA in regard to the competition.


5. The Winner
5.1 The Prize will be awarded to 1 (one) entrant drawn at random on 25 October 2023 (overseen by an independent auditor, accountant, attorney or advocate), and the Winner will be notified by WWF-SA via its Instagram account  within 5 Days of the Prize draw. If the contact details provided by the entrant is not valid, they will forfeit the Prize, and another winner will be selected on the same basis.

5.2 In the event that for reasons beyond the control of WWF-SA, the draw cannot take place on a date specified, WWF-SA will conduct the draw as soon as reasonably possible and notify entrants of such new draw date.

5.3 The Winner may be invited to be photographed, interviewed or participate in other marketing activity conducted by WWF-SA. The Winner has the right to decline such invitation.

5.4 The results of the competition will be verified by an independent auditor, accountant, attorney or advocate selected by WWF-SA.

5.5 The Winner accepts the Prize entirely at their own risk and indemnifies WWF-SA in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, or property damage that may occur in connection with the Prize to the fullest extent allowed by law.

5.6 The Prize is exclusively for the Winner  and is neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash or another Prize, and must be accepted by the Winner within 5 Days.

5.7 Where a diligent attempt to contact the Winner fails or the winner elects not to take the Prize or is unable to take the Prize for whatever reason WWF-SA reserves the right to either select another Winner or not award a Prize at all, in its sole discretion.

5.8 If, after notification, the Prize is not collected or receipt of it taken within 5 Days of the winner being announced, it will be regarded as forfeit.

5.9 By entering this competition, the Entrant acknowledges that their personal information will be shared with the Promoter and its agents to the extent necessary to conduct the competition and for prizes to be delivered to winners.

5.10 By entering this competition and submitting your personal information, you authorise the Promoter to process your personal information in accordance with South African data protection and customer protection laws.

5.11 Entrants may request from WWF-SA details of their information held  and to update and / or correct their information.


6. The Promoter

6.2 WWF-SA reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any entry and to refuse the entry of any person who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with any process in redeeming the Prize.

6.3 WWF-SA may refuse the redemption of any Prize in the event of any irregularities or fraudulent activities.
